Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I can’t believe another decade is over already! Weren’t we all just fretting about Y2K just a few years ago?
With the new year brings reflection on last year and what I’ve accomplished. I’m not sure how interesting this is to the outside world, but for me it’s neat to go back to the previous year so easily on my blog and check on the design progress! In 2008 I had a total of 7 published designs, but 2009 was much busier!
Published in 2009:
- Urban Wrap for neoknits
- Somerset Cardigan for neoknits
- Zickzack Tunic Interweave Spring 09
- Bliss for neoknits
- My 4 designs for Knitscene: Balmoral, Berkshire, Carnaby, and Emerald Isle
- Angelica’s Coat Interweave Fall 09
- Deep Texture Tunic Interweave Winter 09
- Athena and Snowprincess from Pure Knits
- Cadet Cardi Yarnforward #19
Whew! So that’s a grand total of 13 for the year! Not too shabby! Especially when considering my hand injury last February.
In 2010, while I’d like to keep on pace with 2009 for publishing, I also wouldn’t mind finding a few more minutes for knitting things for myself. Selfish knitting is the one thing that has taken the back seat, and while it just comes with the territory, I wouldn’t mind making room for a few stolen moments here and there.
What are your knitting resolutions for 2010? Finishing up UFO’s? Organizing the stash? I’d love to hear about them!

Congrats on all those beautiful designs published in 2009!! I can’t wait to see what you come out with in 2010….My goals for 2010 definitely include some destashing… not entirely get rid of the stash, but at least reduce it to one drawer, or something more manageable. And to knit more Christmas gifts!!

Congratulations for all your accomplishments in 2009! Happy 2010!
They are not really resolutions, but I plan to participate to the Ravelympics and start knitting socks this year! Also, I will definitely knit the Bliss Shawlette I won last summer here. And how about finishing Thermal?
