I’ve been thinking about doing a collection for some time, but it’s been hard to sit down and actually do it. Finally, with some extra encouragement from Ysolda and Connie and kind words from you, dear knitters, I’ve finally done it!

There will be 6 patterns in the collection and each pattern will be available as single downloads as well as in a bundled collection. If there is enough interest, I may also add on a printed book later for a small additional sum for those who have purchased the collection as PDF downloads. So far, it looks like there are going to be 2 hat patterns, a sweater, and 2 mitt/gloves patterns. The 6th one is going to be a surprise to me apparently!

How it works: If you have pre-ordered the collection, approximately every 1-2 weeks a new pattern will be released and will be automatically delivered to you by email. If you have a Ravelry account, they can also be saved to your library. Extra bonus!

It’s been interesting putting together this collection. If you’ve been following me for a bit, you probably know my thing is sweaters, but I have to say that designing accessories has given me new found design freedom. The collection was planned out with a basic outline, but I’ve basically been flying by the tip of my fingers and haven’t really been following it. It’s sort of nice to design on the fly and let the ideas just come to me instead of obsessing over which sweater will be the better pattern due to time constraints!

So keep an eye out for the first release for neoknits volume one due out sometime within the next few days. I hope you like it!
