Interweave Knits Spring 09 Preview

Posted on | February 6, 2009 | 9 Comments

The interweave knits spring preview is up! And there is a pattern by yours truly in there – the zickzack tunic.

Zickzack Tunic
Here it is being modeled back in September before being sent off to Interweave.

Over all it looks like a very promising issue. I can’t wait to make Connie’s Soap Bubble Wrap when I have a free moment. I’ve seen the sweater in person and it’s gorgeous!

yours is my favorite! i’m not super-thrilled with the issue (although others seem to be pleased – to each her own!) – but i really love that tunic!

Awww, thanks Melissa! And your Tunic is perfect! I love the cowl neck line and the shape. And it’s a wonderful way to work with a fine yarn without killing yourself with millions of stitches.

Congrats again! I like it better on you than the model! I think it looks great worn a little blousy, and it shows off the cool button detail :)

I don’t mean to knock IK, but I actually like it better here than in the IK photo. Good job!

Love the Tunic! It is the first pattern that caught my eye in the preview. I am looking forward to knitting it!

I absolutely adore this tunic–what a stunning design! This is the first IK pattern in awhile that I’ve wanted to cast on for right away!
